With this retrofit you can activate 3 optionals: lane assist (useful), dynamic sign recognition (less useful) and high beam assist (useful if you travel often during night) The settings I am using are: Lane assist: active Adaptive lane tracking: checked Warning level: strong Keep in mind that lane assist is not autonomous driving, it works well on highways where the markings of lane lines are clearly visible, on mild turns and and straight roads, but sometimes lane assist disengages and you start drifting, so be always ready to take control of the steering wheel! Moreover I strongly advise to turn it off when the road is full of curves, otherwise it is dangerous. I made this video after I replaced again the windscreen at my expenses around 1100€ (grrrr, my insurance last year upon renewal removed "silently" the windscreen warranty with just a small note "Your guarantees could have changed" on my renewal quote which I paid without even reading, my insurance Allianz is also famous for being a historical partner of Volkswagen, still wondering if Volkswagen does not like retrofits like this one done by private individuals, notwithstanding all the companies that provide retrofit services for a great deal of money, even the same Volkswagen started doing this since Golf 8 with upgrades, anyway ) #golf #mk7 #facelift #lane #assist #retrofit #test #highway
