The Carnival Mardi Gras Cruise Ship Havana Suite Cabin 8250 Floor 8 The Havana area is private to cabin members staying in this area and guests must be 12+ in age. The balcony has a full size lounger (wish it had a cushion), a chair with a foot rest, a swing and a table. Such a great fun area! We spent a lot of time here. The outside balcony rooms have a patio/deck area with gates to a walking path that leads to the private pool and an outside bar area. There is plenty of lounge chairs and seating. The pool is cold and usually not crowded. I specifically chose the starboard side to have less foot traffic passing by our deck and I figured it would be a little quieter and a little more private being further from the bar and pool area. The Havana area is on deck 8 and I found it nice to be on this level of the Mardi Gras. There are three large closets with lots of space for all your cruise clothing and shoes. The suite has 2 robes. I would not recommend booking the rooms in the very front of the Havana area if you like to spend time out on your balcony. They do not have a view as there is a large white solid half wall and the staff outside area is below that so there can be a strong smoke smell occasionally coming up to that area. Please check out cruise ship deck plans first. Also several balconies on floor 9 near the Havana area pool have zero privacy and are pretty much on top of the pool area.
