I finally started working on the MK2 Jetta again to install the Wavetrac LSD into the powdercoated 020 transmission case. I walk through how to install the bearings onto the differential, as well as installing the bearing races into the transmission. I also get into how to measure the play between the bearings in order to set the pre-load correctly. There will be more information on that in a future episode as well. Overall, this went smooth but had some issues with ordering the incorrect part numbers because these transmissions are so old that all the part numbers don't exist anymore. For those that are doing this themselves, I put a chart in the video for what bearing shims are still available with their thicknesses and part numbers for reference.
