(Filmed between January 16th and 20th after the Tonga submarine volcano eruption) We got hit with a double whammy - tsunami warnings and a snowstorm. Our van got stuck in snow while we were evacuating and it was so cold that our doors froze and we almost got trapped inside the van. Without being able to use our solar pannels and unable to move, our first vanlife winter was dangerous and more of a challenge than we expected. Mother Nature I really scary and the experience has taught us to always be prepared for the worst case scenario. This is a real van life reality vlog showing how we spent a day stick in the snow in Japan while living off the grid. We were woken up by tsunami warnings along the pacific coast of Japan and had to evacuate inland, only to get stuck in the snow.
