US President Donald Trump's peace plan calls for Hamas to lay down its arms and no longer have any role in running Gaza. But while the militant group is weakened, it is still in charge in the territory and reluctant to give up power. One day after Trump and regional leaders signed a declaration to cement the first phase of a ceasefire in Gaza, there's been new bloodshed in the territory. Palestinian media say four people were killed in an Israeli drone attack near Gaza City. Israel's military says it opened fire after several people approached Israeli positions and posed a threat to soldiers - which it called a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
