This is truly the hardest song I’ve ever sung, a true testament of willpower! When I first heard the ending and opening for Oshi no Ko, I immediately loved the ED way more. Idol was super catchy and it worked, but Mephisto was just so much more impressive to me. And yet, there aren’t many vocal covers of this song, and I now understand fully why. There is a single vocal range for this song and that is crack www However, I was super determined to sing this. I didn’t want to cheat the double octave jumps though. The original key was too low though for my low range, and the high notes were already kinda difficult. So, I did the dumb thing and transposed it up two, which fixed the low range, and made the high notes stupid lmao Even so, I somehow sang this without killing my vocal chords. Hecking thank you training! And, thank you to everyone who helped make this cover happen! It truly turned into something badass!!
