I was unhappy with how the previous iteration of this layout looked, so I decided to rebuild it from the ground up, keeping the majority of the gameplay but overhauling the effects. Personally, I think it looked a bajillion zillion times better than the last one; I honestly don't know how I found it looking good back then lol. Surprisingly, this layout took me like 1 - 2 months to completely remake, which is kind of crazy when comparing it to the 9 months to create the last one, though that was including building the layout, which I have found out that I struggle with making those to speed. Though considering that, my commitment to this level and redoing all the effects is like much more effort than I've put into anything else before lmaooo Anyways, if you don't know the history of this level, here it is: In January 2022, I saw Phallex's unfinished levels videos. I thought it was cool, so I asked if I could continue it. He said yes, I went on to build my part, and Blueskii joined in to build a part as well. I think Phalexx tried to decorate him self, which didn't go far, so the level kind of died. In like early-mid 2023, we tried to revive it, starting up a collab and getting some pretty cool gameplay creators like Mordroc, who created a gameplay part, but it lost momentum and died shortly after. Then 2.2 dropped, I thought it'd be cool to remake it solo, so I started that project, trying to implement aspects of the old layout into the new one and using a new, cooler part of the song. This started in December 2023 and took me all the way up to October 2024 to finish it. Once finished, I kind of did nothing with the level, even though I said that I would get people to decorate it. The level kind of sat there for months, and I quickly came to dislike how the effects looked after having a skill boost in doing effects, since it was the first level that I did effects on. About a month ago, I decided that I would redo the whole thing. I made really quick progress, even replacing gameplay parts that I wasn't satisfied with. And now here it is, done. It's kind of insane that a layout has some sort of a history, but it does, and it's here today. With this, the level is going to be decorated by Phalexx's team, Team Wish, so wish them luck on that. Don't expect it soon, though, since it will probably take a while until the level is out. This level will be aimed at an Extreme Demon, harder than Bloodbath and levels around that difficulty, but definitely easier than the extended list. It will be verified by my long-time friend, Stoical Milk, who asked to verify it alllllll the way back when the collab started in 2023. Also, I think I may have fixed my recording settings, so hopefully this recording will turn out looking better.
