Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Breaking Chords with Mastering Long-From Arpeggios. As I mention in the video, I've featured what are known as "long-form" arpeggios several times on the channel over the years, and this time we're taking the concept/idea behind this arpeggio type and applying them to various seventh chord formulas and tonalities, and then we're moving/connecting them across the fretboard - so let's dive in! This lesson revolves around applying the long-form arpeggio approach to the four main types of seventh chord arpeggios - minor 7th, dominant 7th, major 7th, and m7b5 (a.k.a. half-diminished). As you'll discover, we're moving across the fretboard and technically arranging three-octave arpeggio fingerings for each arpeggio types on the guitar fretboard as this lesson unfolds. Working on material like this will not only sharpen your awareness of arpeggios and arpeggio/chord formulas, but you're also tackling note/octave location mapping on the fretboard, building finger dexterity/strength, improved position shifting on the neck, and much more! Needless to say, if you've tackled some of the previous lessons surrounding long-form arpeggios on the LNL channel over the years and would like to dive deeper, are a player wanting more insight into locating/arranging arpeggios on the fretboard, a viewer wanting to understand seventh chords & arpeggios, or maybe you're just curious what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you! Give this episode a view, leave some comments/feedback, and please subscribe to Late Night Lessons - THANK YOU!
