For this project I used 2 14 inch embroidering rings from Hobby Lobby These were on sale 50% off - Regular price $5.99 each They always offer a 40% coupon if you don’t catch the sale I used 3ft wooden BBQ skewers for dowels from Dollar Tree (cut 10 inches) With several dowels I already had from Walmart (also cut 10 inches) You will need at least 8 screws (drill 4 of the dowels) Glue, Mod Podge, Silver Glitter 1- floral plant chain from Dollar Tree (used 3 clips from chain) Gems More about the gems I love these! After a three month search and reading all the good and bad reviews I finally decided to try the best deal I could find on the internet. I bought 99 feet of beautiful acrylic chandelier gems. These are super clear, the shine, sparkle, light reflects thru them great, the jump rings are easy to work with. They have ZERO haze or fog to them. I’m so happy to give good feedback on these bc I was super concerned how they would look in person. They do have tini tiny surface scratches on SOME but you have to hold them right up to your face and be looking for them. They in no way hinder the appearance of the gems. You know exactly what you’re getting when you buy glass unlike buying acrylic. Of course these shine more, there is a small difference in size but again you have gotta be looking for the difference. These are heavier, feel like high quality, overall I’m very happy with these too. I do have to admit for the money the acrylic gems are the better deal but if you want glass gems this is the best deal I know of. You get 30 ft for $22.
