I bit the bullet and went ahead with the juice brake conversion! Disclaimer: There ARE other parts & methods that will work for converting to Juice Brakes, this was just my process. Also, you can still run mechanical brakes with this rear end but it requires a cable conversion. If I was going to have to make changes then I saw no point in a lateral move.
