There are many facets to the personality of Gita Ramanan. The consummate all-rounder, an exceptional leader and the ever diligent entrepreneur. So it is no surprise that she is driven deeply by the passion to excel at all that she does. Given her natural flair at design and creativity, she completed her B.Arch degree from BMSCE, Bangalore in 2006 and worked for some top designfirms of the country, handling large scale projects. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, she also holds a business degree in Entrepreneurship and Management from ISB Hyderabad and co-founded Design Café in 2011 with Shezaan Bhojani. Given her attention to detail and excellent people management skills, Design Café continues to grow at over 40% YOY and has seen its revenues triple in the last four years. As an integral part of award-winning projects, her homes and designs have been published in many design magazines. Fondly called the Janitor-in-Chief at DC, she has shepherded Design Cafe's revolutionary new initiative in the space of Interior Design and is a demon about aiming for perfection and insists on constant research, innovation and creative thinking. She carries that same desire to excel in this new journey and drives each person in her team to push their own boundaries.
