HD is always nice! (Pause and read description in case you want/need to know about Mary Stayed Out All Night before watching) Okay so, the K-drama inspiration continues. For those of my subscribers/friends who aren't interested, bear with me, I will get into other fandoms again! Promise! But at the moment, I was determined to use this song and I thought it'd be super cute for Mae Ri and Mu-Gyul. For those of my friends who are unaware of the general plot read on: Mae Ri's father is always getting himself deeply in debt with the wrong people, and their apartment has yet again been repossessed of all belongings when Mae Ri's friends invite her out for a night on the town, offering to pay her to be their designated driver. Desperate for money she accepts, but winds up crashing into (literally) Mu-Gyul, who seems completely unphased. Afraid he might be a swindler who will later accuse her of a hit and run, she follows him to a club where she finds him and his band performing. She spends the rest of the night following him around, trying to get him to sign a waiver freeing her of any responsibility for hitting him and things kind of progress from there with the two of them. Meanwhile her dad, on the run from creditors, is discovered by a childhood friend who has become quite successful financially and he makes a deal with Mae Ri's father. If she agrees to an arranged marriage with his son, he'll take care of all their debts. The father readily agrees, but Mae Ri refuses to be involved and runs away from home where she runs back into Mu-Gyul and his friends. Together they come up with the idea to fake a wedding between Mu-Gul and Mae Ri so she can claim she's already married, however the parents are sneaky and persistent. They force her into a deal where for 100 days she must spend time with both Mu-Gyul and Jung-In. At the end she must decide which guy to pick. Is it full of cliches? Yes. Are there plot points that make little/no sense? Unfortunately. Do I find myself wanting to smack everyone in the cast at least once? Definitely. But Mae Ri and Mu-Gyul are really cute together, so I still enjoyed the show, and whether you go out and decide to see the show or not, I hope you enjoy the video! ^_^
