This is our second trip after Lockdown and this time we are in #Devalgarh & #Khirsu. Devalgarh is a hilly town situated in the Pauri district of #Uttarakhand and is situated 15 km from Khirsu. Devalgarh is a former capital of Garhwal rulers which was founded by the Kangara ruler Deval. This Devalgarh Town boasts one of the most incredible temple shrines, sunrises, and astonishing views that are worth the visit. Some of the popular ancient temples of Devalgarh are - Laxmi Narayan, Gaura Devi, and Rajrajeswari Temple. There is a powerful shrine of Parvati Devi in Devalgarh which is believed to be made by the god of wealth, Kubera. The architectures and the inscription on the stones of the temples make Devalgarh a unique tourist destination. The second destination which we cover in this video is Khirus. The snow-covered mountains of Khirsu tempt the tourist in the winters and summers. The panoramic view of the central Himalayas, thick oak deodar forests, apple orchards, and tranquil environment make Khirsu an awesome outing destination.
