Taken off as tape I used to record dragon ball Z when it was on cheese TV in the morning after I had to leave for school haha. I believe these ads provide a rare glimpse into Australian life, society and culture during the this time, in this case, 2003. As a 90s kid I grew up on these ads as this was a time before social media and the popular use of the internet and it was a large part of what we did was watch TV. I feel lucky to be able to bring them back to life and grateful to my parents/past self for making these records. It's funny, at the time they were mainly just a source of irritation and something to either mute or fast forward through. They also portray the Australia that I grew up in, a simpler and perhaps happier place. Enjoy some nostalgic TV as these ads teleport you back in time.
