Hey beautiful people, I'm back with some real talk about what's been happening in my life lately. A few weeks ago, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job, and this time I wanted to share the journey with you as it's happening instead of waiting until I'm on the other side of it. I'm approaching this layoff completely differently than my last one. Instead of panicking and applying to anything just to avoid being unemployed, I took time to process the emotions and do the inner work first. I've learned that rushing into the wrong opportunity out of fear doesn't serve anyone. I had a frustrating interview experience I had today where the interviewer showed up late only to tell me they'd already filled the position. It's a reminder that the job search process can be broken, but it doesn't reflect my worth or capabilities. This is the first episode of my new series "The In-Between Season" where I'll be documenting this journey of navigating unemployment, job searching, and trusting that God will align me with the right opportunity at the right time. I want to be transparent about both the challenges and the growth that comes with these unexpected life transitions. If you've ever been laid off or are currently job searching, I hope this series helps you feel less alone in the process. Sometimes the in-between seasons teach us the most about ourselves and what we really want. Have you ever had to navigate an unexpected job loss? How did you handle it? Let me know in the comments because we're all learning together. Don't forget to subscribe if you want to follow along with this journey, and I'll see you in the next episode.
