It was an EPIC SHOWDOWN this week as we pitted two vintage consoles head to head against each other, as we played Gunfighter on the Philips Videopac G7000 (AKA Showdown in 2100 A.D. on Magnavox Odyssey 2) and Outlaw on the Atari 2600!! But which classic PvP gunslinger arcade conversion came out on top????! More on Outlaw: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlaw_...) More on Gunfighter/Showdown in 2100 A.D.: https://www.mobygames.com/game/odysse... --- We stream classic games from the 2nd Generation of videogame consoles on Sundays from 11am UK, to find out whether they are still fun to play and to explore these strange and arcane gaming relics! Check us out on: Twitch at twitch.tv/deadfleshretro Twitter @DeadFleshRetro Instagram at instagram.com/deadfleshretro Facebook at facebook.com/deadfleshretro PRODUCTION NOTES: We run off original hardware whenever possible, on consoles that we have refurbished and converted to Composite video output. We run the AV output through a Retrotink 2x Pro upscaler and via a couple of switches into our Elgato capture card. Our streaming software is StreamLabs, and we use a Logitech c920 web cam as well as iVCam running on an old iPhone as a secondary camera for closeups of the systems we're playing on. The HDMI output is actually being split after post-processing, so we are watching the game via an LG ultra short throw projector on the wall of our games room, with the sound running via HDMI Arc from the projector into a Sonos Beam playbar. (When we're not streaming we also clean up the video output a little using an MClassic graphics processor, however the output from that isn't captured very well by the Elgato capture card, and so we have it switched off for streaming.) https://www.retrotink.com/product-pag... https://www.marseilleinc.com/mclassic/ https://www.elgato.com/en/game-captur... https://streamlabs.com/ https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/produc... https://www.e2esoft.com/ivcam/
