You are of great honour and grace وطر على ناقة الاشواق في سحر Ride on a camel before dawn, full of longing for him ما اطيب الوصل حظا حين تقترب O how beautiful the union is as you approach him نعم سرى طيف من اهوى فأرقني Indeed, I have thought of the one whom I long for and I have become sleepless والحب يعترض اللذات بالالم The pleasure of love is mixed with aches of longing for him فالتوسل هو طلب حصول منفعة او اندفاع مضرة من الله بذكر اسم نبي او ولي اكراما للمتوسل به Tawassul is seeking to gain benefit or to alleviate harm, from Allah, by mentioning a prophet or a righteous Muslim, in honour of the mentioned الطلب من الله لان الانبياء والاولياء لا يخلقون مضرة ولا منفعة The request is sought from Allah because the prophets and righteous people do not create any benefit or harm ولكن نحن نسال الله بهم رجاء تحقيق مطالبنا. فنقول But we ask Allah by their virtue so that He may grant us our requests. And thus we say يا ربي بالمصطفى بلغ مقاصدنا O Allah, by virtue of the Chosen Prophet, grant us our requests واغفر لنا ما مضى يا واسع الكرم And erase the traces of our past ugly acts O Generous one يا خير من دفنت بالترب اعظمه O the best one of those whose bones have been buried in the soil فطاب من طيبهن القاع والاكم And thus, added aroma to the soil from top to bottom يا رسول الله سلام عليك يا عظيم الجاه والكرم O Messenger of Allah, peace be upon you.
