The UK was originally a multinational organisation, but is losing that characteristic as it focuses increasingly on sovereignty and identity, concepts which, of their very nature, divide peoples and create borders between them. In the 2021 lecture series ‘After Brexit: Utopia or Dystopia?’, leading figures from politics and academia shared their reflections, and offered their hopes and fears for post-Brexit Britain.
