How To Put Ford F150 Electronic Park Brake Into Service / Maintenance Mode Without A Scan Tool. #f150 #ecoboost #ford In this video I show you how to put your Ford F150s electronic park brake into service or maintenance mode without a scantool. You need to do this to replace the rear brakes on any Ford with an electronic park brake. This method works on most Fords. I demonstrate on a 2020 F150 with a 3.5 L Ecoboost. If you don't put it into service or maintenance mode you will not be able to push the caliper piston in without damaging it. You also want to disable the parkbrake anytime you are working on the brakes. The last thing you want is to end up in the hospital because someone turned the park brake on while you had your fingers in there. How is this done? Watch and see. All opinions and reviews are my own, and I am not being paid by Snap On , Milwaukee Tools or any other tool companies. You will receive an honest opinion from a professional mechanic, with twenty plus years experience who uses the tools daily. Snap on and Milwaukee tools are for use in the transportation industry including: automotive, commercial transport, heavy duty, marine, aviation and railway industries. ***If you enjoyed this video or it was helpful, please remember to hammer that “thumbs up” button.
