Fujifilm X-E5 10Bit 6.2K Cinematic Video Test It’s been 4 years, Fujifilm finally announced the X-E5. First of all, special thanks to “Fujifilm Australia” and “DigiDirect” for letting me get my early hands on. So I gotta say this is the most beautiful X-E series ever made. It looks just like the X100VI, but with the interchangeable mount. This camera shoots beautiful 6.2K video with 10Bit color, just like the X100VI. But it doesn’t do opengate like the X-M5. But for this type of photo first and video second sort of camera. I think no opengate isn’t a big deal. The camera also shoots 4K upto 60p with a 1.18x crop. Fujifilm also have announced the brand new XF23mm f/2.8 lens (Finally a 23mm pancake lens). And it pairs with the X-E5 very nicely. And the image quality is spectacular. It’s super sharp. And the auto focus is way better than the 27mm one. Overall, I was super enjoyed using this camera. The beautiful body design makes you want to keep shooting. And I love the new XF 23mm f/2.8 lens. Hopefully we get to see more pancake lenses from Fujifilm. Maybe a 35mm pancake?
