Using the pipe slope calculation formula, sewer design calculations are done and optimum dia and slope are designed by the software by finding the invert levels at all manholes. Read more: https://esurveying.net/sewer-network-... Hello Everybody, Welcome to the video tutorial about how to find out invert levels, Pipe Dia, and Slope of each manhole. In the previous topic, you have seen how to import manhole data from CAD or Excel. Once you have imported data, you are ready to find out invert levels, Pipe Dia, and Slope of each manhole. First, you need to do settings for the design, Quantity calculation, and Pipe. You need to provide design parameters like Population Per length, LPCD(Litres Per capita per day), Peak Factor, Minimum depth at Manhole, infiltration, Drop at Manhole, Velocity, Full flow limit, Q/q limit, and Manhole Length Precision. In Pipe Settings Tab, you can configure Pipe parameters for each Dia. Each Pipe Dia should have Minimum and Maximum velocity, slope and Material details. In Quantity Calculation settings Tab, you need to specify Width and the Depth. In the Quantity Calculation Tab, specify split at every X meters, select Rectangular / Stepped / Trapezoidal method for Trench cutting and provide respective details. Also, specify the Trench Width for each Dia. You are ready to design the network once all the settings are done. In the Network tab, click on the Design button to Design automatically all invert levels for each Manhole. A table will be generated, with details for each manhole which can be seen in Details Tab. In the Details tab, you see all the design details. You can modify each pipe detail, even after doing the design. For example, in manhole MH19 Pipe Dia is 150 and you can change it to 200 and click on Update. Similarly, you can change Invert Level, Slope, Population, LCPD, and infiltration for any specific pipe and redesign the network. In Pipe Earthwork Tab, you can see the Quantity Report. In Dia-wise Pipe Length Details Tab, you can see information related to length, Slope and Dia-wise length of the pipe which will be helpful in finding the Quantities for different dia pipes. Dia-Wise Pipe Length Details of Network is as shown in the image. Thank you for watching this video.
