Church Merger Brings New Life: A Good Futures Story
Two churches in Madison, WI came to a shared vision for ministry together and so they federated into one. They engaged in the RootedGood Good Futures Accelerator course which helped them listen deeply to their neighborhood and imagine a new future that now includes a new community center and 26 units of workforce housing. They tell their story in this beautiful film by Big Dog Little Bed productions. This film was created for the Thriving Congregations Coordination Program (https://thrivingcongregations.org), which is conducted by Leadership Education at Duke Divinity and funded by Lilly Endowment Inc.
