One of the rare old naval traffic lights on the Sardinian coasts. It was built at the end of the 19th century and decommissioned in 1957. Its history begins in 1887, the year of its construction supervised by the impresario Giuseppe Mossa. Once its function as a naval traffic light ended, after the introduction of large-scale radio, due to its strategic position it was converted into a communication station. In April 1918, at the end of the First World War, he was hit by cannons mounted on a German submarine, which damaged the antenna. During the last war, codenamed Taurus, it also assumed the multiple role of radar station, lookout and anti-ship and anti-aircraft Defence, and was manned by a detachment of German troops. After the end of hostilities the traffic light maintained watchful duties by the Navy, until its decommissioning dated December 31, 1957.
