We Rescued Feral Kittens During the Pandemic | Flea bath | KITTEN RESCUE VLOG | PART 1

COME WITH ME ON A RESCUE MISSION TO SAVE LITTLE KITTENS AND MAMA CAT! #kittenrescue #catrescue #kittenfoster Four weeks ago we noticed that there is a Mama cat and three kittens living in our basement. We started researching what to do with feral cats and quickly realized that we will have to take care of it ourselves. We postponed our camping trip and operation Rescue The Basement Kitties began. ⁣ ⁣ I went online and joined all the cat groups on Facebook asking for help. Two wonderful volunteers answered my call for help and we designed a plan. ⁣ ⁣ For the first week we kept feeding the little guys and their Mama trying to get them used to the idea that humans are the source of food. We put up a little enclosure around the hole into the crawl space under the house to make it a little more secluded. We tried to take as many videos of them, because it was crucial to understand how old the kittens are. And also - because there is nothing cuter than seeing Mama cat play with her babies. ⁣ ⁣ When it was established that the kittens are old enough to be separated from their Mommy, we invited Bianca Priddy to come help us catch them. We set up a trap with food right outside and hid in the bushes. Mama Cat, small black kitty, probably a kitten herself, came out almost immediately. We trapped her within the hour. The volunteer took her home where she stayed for couple days, then she got spayed and got her shots. Now she is released back to our backyard as a part of the special Trap - Neuter - Release program for feral cats. But back to the basement. We thought that the kittens, silly clueless creatures they are, will come out for food right after and we will trap them as well. ⁣ ⁣ Oh, we underestimated those Three Amigos so much.⁣..
