Students clash over Karnataka flag at college fest

Two groups of students clashed during a college fest allegedly over the display of the Karnataka flag. A video of the incident that went viral shows a student being assaulted when he displayed the flag at a fest organized by Gogte College of Commerce in Belagavi. Some pro Kannada activists staged a protest and demand action against the guilty. College authorities intervened and brought the situation under control. The police say the incident is being investigated.
