Hessie Trailhead Jasper Lake Via Devil's Thumb Trail Indian Peaks Wilderness

In August of 2024 my hiking partner (The Lawman) and I hiked the Devil's Thumb trail to Jasper Lake in Indian Peaks Wilderness from the Hessie Trailhead outside of Nederland and Eldora in Colorado. This was 10 miles round trip and a little more than 1,900 feet of elevation gain and had some spectacular views, a rushing stream, and ended at the beautiful Jasper Lake. I would highly recommend this hike but consider doing it on a weekday if possible or arrive super early as there is limited parking. A shuttle is available from Nederland.
