I'll be honest...I had never heard of the Pullman hotel brand before, not until my recent stay at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse. This property was formerly Le Meridien Montparnasse until Accor Hotels acquired it in 2011, and so the name changed to Pullman. In 2017 the hotel closed for renovations and delayed reopening (due to the pandemic) to late 2021. Though located in the 14th arrondisement, the hotel is a 15 minute walk from Jardin du Luxumbourg. There are plenty of restaurants and shops, as well as a few metro stations. The hotel has a hip, trendy vibe and the staff is friendly. Breakfast can become a challenge at times since this hotel is a pit stop for a lot of cruise and coach travellers. But the Fi'lia restaurant has great cuisine and the Sky Bar has beautiful views of the city.
