When you watch planes land, there are many things you may enjoy the most about them. It may be the sheer size of the plane, the deafening scream of the engines as they fly overhead, or even seeing the livery up close. But in my opinion, the best part of watching planes land is waiting for the wingtip vortices to hit the ground and produce that whooshing sound. It is an incredibly unique sound that I feel gets ignored by most planespotters. So I decided to be the one who doesn't ignore it. Because I am an enormous nerd when it comes to this stuff, I also decided to rank the sound on a scale in the video. Not all of the planes in this video produce a decent sound however. In fact, most heavy jets with the exception of the 777 don't make loud wake turbulence at all.
