It was at the 2014 Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway where Lee Bektash would make Pro Stock history by resetting both ends of the Australian national record. In the first round, Bektash reset the elapsed time record with the first ever 6.8 second pass running a 6.877, shattering the previous record. It was in the final round when he would break a huge Australian drag racing milestone by running 200.14mph, the first over 200mph and the new national speed record.
