Maltese Composer and Church of Knights of Malta

This is part of a Massa Cantata in St.Johns CoCathedral in Valletta-Malta composed by a great Maltese Composer named Paolino Vassallo. Mro Paolino Vassallo studied under Massenet and won a competition which he refused because in order to get the prize he had to withdraw his Maltese citizenship and embrace to the French one. The one that won the competion after him was the famous French composer Debussy. The beautiful church was built by the Knights of Malta and is one of the finest churces in the world. In this church one finds Caravaggio's painting amongst other famous artists.
