In July 2025, we set out to hike across Slovenia’s Julian Alps, reaching the summit of Triglav, the country’s highest peak at 2,864 meters. From the wild beauty of the Seven Lakes Valley to the quiet trails of the Trenta Valley, each day brought new challenges, storms, and moments of awe. We stayed in remote mountain huts high above the valleys, where warm soup, shared laughter, and tired smiles became part of the journey. This was our most epic hut-to-hut adventure through some of Europe’s most breathtaking alpine landscapes.
