I've performed Amazing Grace numerous times over the years, but most recently was with Only Men Aloud on their album 'on the road'. Although first published in 1779 as a religious hymn, Amazing Grace gained popularity in the 1970's when artists such as Judy Collins, Johnny Cash, and Aretha Franklin each recorded the song.
