The Woozy is remarkable pedal designed and built by Champion Leccy. It is officially described as a "lo-fi modulation and warped tape echo". it is designed in such a way that you could depart to entirely new sonic territories with it and use your creativity to make the woozy produce very unique tones. In this video I used it on all of the tracks and got it to function as a tape delay, vibrato, noise machine, and basically used it as if it was an instrument by itself. I ran the drum loop through the Woozy to make the sample sound like more than just a dry loop and more like a dynamic part. The final track is made out three layers - drum loop, Guitar 1 - Rhythm/lower part, Guitar 2 - Lead/Higher part. All recorded in one complete take with the woozy on every one of them. If added some panning and EQ on the final track to make it even more fun. Like any good pedal, it's very functional and could be used as a very subtle addition to you tone, but it could also be used as a unique wild effect that goes to distant sonic realms: I've often used its chorus for world music, jazz, and even some mid 80's thrash metal solo chorus tone. I've also used its vibrato and short slap back like echo when I wanted more old school tones. Once you start digging into the pedal, you discover sounds that are mixing all these effects together, making the unit feel more like a modular synth.
