Walt Disney World and Universal - April 2022 - Day 4 - Animal Kingdom - Ford's Garage Dinner

Hi everyone My family finally made it back to Florida, almost two years later than originally planned! We are Clare, Peter, Sean (11) and Luke (8). Join us for our first visit this trip to Animal Kingdom! Luke has autism so we were able to use the Disability Access Service (DAS) but be aware of the dodgy WiFi at AK so you may need to visit the Guest Services umbrellas for help. I hope this will be helpful for parents of children with additional needs. We got on our favourite ride in WDW, Flight of Passage, did the safari and then were soaked on Kali River Rapids (or at least Sean and I were - check out the slow mo!) We also caught Kite Tails twice (Lion King and Jungle Book) while trying to dry off! For dinner we tried Ford's Garage, which was a lovely meal but unfortunately a bit of confusion with the bill meant this isn't at the top of our list for the trip. It was resolved though, just a bit of stress I didn't need! For those who are concerned about budgeting now that the dining plan is unavailable, we are attempting to remain within the original cost of our cancelled 2020 booking which included Quick Service Dining with our onsite stay.
