I went to the Download Pilot event with my poor, long suffering girlfriend. I saw bands, I hugged people, I drank, I didn't wear a mask, I sang, I danced, I partied and I had a generally good time. Come along with me as I poorly attempt to Vlog the event in my own, weird style. I wasn't expecting to put out live action content quite so soon, so... there's a lot of flaws in the footage, the content itself and many things did not come together how I wanted them to. Feel free to laugh, I've probably seen the flaw and have it magnified in my brain already. I'm getting teeth whitening strips for the next festival. I look like I'm back to smoking 30 a day. It's awful, I know. A diet of mostly coffee and booze is not good for being on a camera. This was a government pilot event for 10,000 lucky participants willing to be guinea pigs for all their beautiful science data. Every entrant had to test negative for the 'rona before the event, provide evidence of this and ideally test themselves after the event to see if anything spread at the event. Due to WMG being WMG I had to mute all the 13 seconds of music from Rocktail-Cocktail. A Paramore song that they no longer play was too much for them and they had to claim the entire video. Seems massively fair. Seems like fair use to me. To see a real vlog or someone who is willing to do a pre-festival shopping video, check out Robert Palmer, aka Music Festival Explorer at :- / freerunnist Rob has the most down to earth and human feeling videos about festivals, doesnt go into VIP Camping and lives life in the slums with the rest of us.
