In this video I have presented Lao Tzu's sutra number 53 from his book Tao Te Ching Upanishad in hindi. Sutra 53 : The great Tao flows everywhere. Like a flood, it can flow in all directions, left and right. Myriad things draw life from it; and it does not reject them. When its work is done, it does not own them. It gives clothing and food to myriad things, but does not claim ownership of them. Often it is devoid of mind or desire, and may be considered insignificant or small. Then, being the support of all things without claiming them, it may also be considered great. And since it does not claim greatness to the end, its greatness is available. What is Tao Te Ching ? The Tao Te Ching is a Chinese classic text and foundational work of Taoism traditionally credited to the sage Lao Tzu, though the text's authorship, date of composition and date of compilation are debated.The Tao Te Ching is central to both philosophical and religious conceptions of Taoism, and has had great influence beyond Taoism as such on Chinese philosophy and religious practice throughout history. Who is Lao Tzu? Lao Tzu was a semi-legendary ancient Chinese philosopher, author of the Tao Te Ching, the foundational text of Taoism along with the Zhuangzi. Lao Tzu is a Chinese honorific, typically translated as "the Old Master".Traditional accounts say he was born as Li Er in the state of Chu in the 6th century BC during China's Spring and Autumn period, served as the royal archivist for the Zhou court at Wangcheng (in modern Luoyang), met and impressed Confucius on one occasion, and Lao Tzu composed the Tao Te Ching in a single session before retiring into the western wilderness.
