These are the people that are going for the giant pumpkins, the medicinal marijuana crops, people that want to get more out of their landscape. Well the first thing I'm going to say is it has to start in the soil, a well balanced soil that has lots of good organic ingredients like this "GreenAll" which has bat guano, greensands, all sorts of ready to use, ready to go green organic matter is going to go a long way. I'd even go further to consider FoxFarm's ocean forest, this stuff is fantastic. This is the best potting soil on the market. Often times I'm telling people just to use a handful or two as a fertilizer for their indoor houseplants. Now once you've got the right medium you can consider the world of beneficial, probiotic micro-organisms and some other things out there that will get you ahead of the rest. probably one of my favorite things out there is mycorrhizae. Look at this little critter right here. Just like a man running through a field, this right here is a fungus. Mycorrhizae is a natural fungus that attaches to the root, it forms a symbiotic relationship whereby the mycorrhizae brings in moisture and nutrients and the plant root feeds the mycorrhizae with sugar. Well there are lots of ways to go about adding that to your landscape. Even just a small amount of this "Mykos" bar right here added to your soil will get the propagules going. High potent stuff when worked into the top two inches of your soil, the mycorrhizae will work in symbiosis with your root system. You can get it in much larger bags or even larger bags yet. Some fertilizers actually come with mycorrhizae like this "Mykos 30", it has the inoculant and the organic fertilizer together. Now they also have something called an "M Drop" which are little drop packets that can be applied right into the soil and get going. "Azos" is another exciting product that "Xtreme Gardening" has out there. This is actually a nitrogen fixing bacteria that when applied to the foliage of a plant will double or triple the amount of nitrogen that's available right then and there. Really good for those competitive gardeners. I want to show off this CO2 product as well. It's a natural and safe foliar spray that will actually enhance the amount of carbon dioxide available to the plant. Just imagine if we had more oxygen coming into our system, this is the thing that creates a benefit for those extreme gardeners. Extreme Gardening is as easy as Mycorrhizae, Azos and CO2. I challenge you to go for some of those competitive crops, utilize some of these products in small amounts and you will be amazed at the results. Let's get gardening!
