What to do in MONTREAL. You NEED to Visit This City! How to Spend a Day Here 🇨🇦

We start things off in the historic Old Montreal. We walk around and explore the old cobblestone streets, the main square (Place Jacques-Cartier) and beautiful buildings. We also head down to the Old Port of Montreal which seems to be somewhat newly developed with a ferris wheel, lots of water activities and vendors. We stop at one food truck called Felix and Norton for a cookie. After this we take a walk by Notre-Dame Basilica (temporarily closed) and grab a coffee at one of our favourite coffee shops called Tommy. After exploring Old Montreal we head to the downtown Montreal shopping street called Rue Ste-Catherine. We stop in front of a St. James United Church where there is a beach in front of the church along with some lounge chairs. We then make our way to the base of Mont-Royal where to climb the 400 Peel Street Steps to the top of the hill to take in the incredible view of the city. We pick things up the next day in the Plateau neighbourhood of Montreal (where we were staying).
