The Goth Girls that Tricked the Internet

In 2008, the channel xXblo0dyxkissxX was created on YouTube, owned by two goth girls called Tara and Raven the Acid Bath Princess of the Darkness. With their friend Azer, they lip-synced along to the likes of My Chemical Romance and Evanescence. On the New Years of 2009, they uploaded a video titled 'A Shout Out from Tara and Raven' that became a viral meme and attracted hate comments labelling the girls as cringe. Following inactivity on the channel, the girls began to be connected to the infamous 'My Immortal' Harry Potter fanfiction. The channel was surrounded in mystery, as people question whether Tara and Raven were real goths, as well as whether they were responsible for writing the World's Worst Fanfiction. Then after 13 years of mystery, a video was uploaded to the channel, revealing what Tara and Raven were like now. Disclaimer: In this video, I use the words emo and goth interchangeably, as people have used both words to describe the girls.
