COVID Protocol - PPE at Dearborn Ear, Nose & Throat

At Dearborn Ear Nose & Throat, your safety is our upmost priority. Now that our office has reopened, we have implemented new COVID-19 protocol to ensure the health and safety of both our patients and our staff. In our offices we now have ultraviolet and HEPA filters in every room that turns over the air. The air exchanger will help remove any contaminants from the air and make it safe. We are trying to keep our patients out of the waiting room as much as possible. We will have our patients wait in their car and we will call or text them when we are ready to seat them. We are using PPE including N95 masks and face shields for the protection of both our patients and our staff. We have all the necessary equipment in order to perform procedures safely. We have personal respirators. We use a video camera inside all of our scopes so that we can stay at a distance while still performing all the necessary functions of our practice. We will bring in an anesthesiologist for certain procedures, and we are providing many procedures in our office to try and keep our patients from needing to go to the hospital.
