Ohio law enforcement investigating tip in 3 missing persons cases dating back 40 years

The Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force is looking to solve a decades-long mystery in the Pine Creek Road area. Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman isn’t saying too much about the investigation. He tells our Jeremiah Wilcox that there’s evidence from a reliable source potentially connected to more than one missing persons case dating back more than 40 years. They're investigating multiple cases from different counties. “Someone with secondhand knowledge about someone who has firsthand knowledge,” he said. This location is around South Webster. The area once had a home on it, and now trees have taken over the rural area. The Columbus Division of Police and the Ohio BCI are assisting the Scioto Sheriff’s Office.
