Renovating and Modernising a 4-bedroom 1950s House in the UK

Apologies in advance for the audio in this video - I really don’t know what happened but will make sure it’s better in the next one. -------------------- We moved into a four bedroom, 1960s 1950s house (turns out our house was built in 1958 and not 1965 like we first thought!) in 2021 and spent the first 15-months renovating it and making it suitable for a family of four. The house had been through periods of renovation in its life but we believe the last time it had been seriously renovated was 1984. Periodic maintenance of various things also meant that it was a mixture of new and old features, decor, and facilities too. If you can make it through this (very) long (possibly boring) video, you'll see how we removed two chimneys, knocked down a couple of walls, reconfigured a set of stairs, blocked up several doorways, plastered all kinds of walls, electrically rewired an entire house, installed a new gas boiler, replaced all of the windows and doors, squeezed in a downstairs WC, and carpeted and decorated everywhere all in just 15-months (with a lot of help from some skilled professionals and contractors, of course).
