Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is establishing a multi-lot, multi-supplier framework agreement for the provision of civil engineering works. FLS manages a network of roads and associated infrastructure, such as bridges, harvesting facilities, and extractive sites (quarries), to support access to and management of Scotland’s national forests and land. In particular, the road network is essential in supporting sustainable harvesting and the haulage of timber. The framework will cover a range of essential activities including road maintenance, new road construction, road upgrades, crushing, bridge maintenance, bridge construction, and the installation of panel bridges. The framework will be structured into 55 lots, grouped by work type and geographical location across Scotland. The Lot types under the framework will be as follows: Maintenance and Small-Scale Works Large-Scale Works and Grading Crushing Bridge Maintenance and New Bridges Panel Bridges During this online webinar, our expert will walk you through the bidding process, using the tender documents for this opportunity. We will demo how to register and login to Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) , how to find the contract notice and express interest. We then follow the FLS buyer’s instructions verbatim, to access the documents in PCS-T and open all envelopes. We will spend time on questions that perhaps tripped bidders up in the past. We also demo the Q&A functionality and how to upload evidence and response documents. Essentially the aim is for you as a bidder, to watch our trainer going through the tendering process as a supplier in real-time, to ensure that you know what your next step will be.
