Dr Mike McClenahan aka Bow Tie Vet Guy is a veterinarian, stand up comedian, author, musician, podcaster and lecturer. He is a 1997 graduate of Iowa State CVM, and has spent time in private practice, as a senior veterinary services consultant for Bayer Animal Health, and as a relief veterinarian. He is currently in general practice in LA and he loves it. Mike is a stand up comedian and has combined his experiences in veterinary medicine, comedy and health care communications to create RACE approved lectures for veterinarian on, “The Use of Virtuous Humor in the Veterinary Clinical Setting.” Yes you can use humour at work, and yes you have to keep it profesh!
