036 How does a barometer work?

Reading the Zeilen magazine I got inspired by an article about the barometer and thought, let's explain how to use the barometer to know what to expect. A quite nifty device it is and if you get it.... :). For those who don't know me or us: I am Jan and together with my wife Sacha and son Stef I’d like to set sail for a longer period of time. Unfortunately my wife indicated we can't do all together so trying to find middle ground by varying crew, route and duration to at least set sail for a longer period of time! Great to learn you found this video which is a step our preparations to set sail in 2024. Our boat? A aluminum Koopmans 36 foot Sailboat called Wind Rose.The plan was conceived in 2006 and I've have been working towards it ever since. With the purchase of Wind Rose, our go anywhere aluminium sailboat, I committed to departure. Especially now I don't know the destination(s), the duration or the route yet, but do know I want to make the change and explore the world. Who knows what happens but follow along and I'll show you!
