There are plenty of aprons out there, but I really liked the idea of making one customized just the way I'd want. An apron is a great intro project to sewing, and a great weekend project that doesn't have to take too long or cost much. You can use a canvas type material, but it's not required; I show a lighter material option at the end. Fire up those sewing machines!
