How to place: Your sim must be in the detective career 1 ) follow your sim to work. I recommend waiting until the end of the work day to place. 2) Open the cheat bar with ctrl + shift + c and enter the cheat bb.enablefreebuild 3) Bulldoze the current police station and place the new one. IF you placed this at the beginning of your work shift, you may have to wait until the next day for everything to be running smoothly again ( inmates in cells, etc.) If you are having problems with police duties when playing I recommend the following: 1) If you play with mods, drag your mod folder to the desktop, delete your localthumbcache.package file, repair game & then load up the game and follow your sim to work and see if you are experiencing the same problems. If so, it's time to 50/50 your mod folder, update your mods, etc. (NOTE: just because you downloaded the most current version of a mod does not mean it is compatible with the most recent game update - check mod notes on version compatibility) . I had issues while play testing by merely having pose packs in my mods folder, so yes, CHECK YOUR MODS first. Make sure to exit the Game WITHOUT saving. Police career playing tips: This lot was tested EXTENSIVELY for many hours, trying to get as smooth, non buggy play as possible. 1) Delete all your evidence from your sims inventory when you solve a case to prevent analyzing old evidence and false clues. 2) When issuing an APB: a) don't issue at end of shift, best to issue at the beginning of a new day b) pause the game immediately when arriving to the new lot - the suspect should already be somewhere on the lot (they won't generate later) 3) Get the Observant reward trait from the Rewards Store Have more tips?
