230v Small 3 speed induction motor: 65watts / 95watts / 130watts

06th January 2016, Here this cool video shows the 3-speed fractional horse power motor working. I was building this motor from and old central heating pump during the summer of 2015, All the aluminium castings are the ones I made myself (as shown in my other Youtube videos on my channel), The motor stator and the rotor were taken from the central heating pump, In one of my videos you can see how I pressed the drive shaft and drive shaft bearing together using my 10 ton Hydraulic press. This was a fun casting project and I now have a great fractional horse power motor to power one of my small lathes (Unimat 3 size lathe) Thanks for watching!
