A Tribute To Omar the English Bulldog. April 1 2017 - Sept 2 2025 💔😞 We unfortunately made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our cherished Omar. Over the past few months he had been slowing down a bit, and Tuesday he became extremely lethargic and unlike himself. Bloodwork revealed critical anemia requiring a transfusion and an ultrasound showed his liver was covered in tumors, the vet advised us that oncology, while an option, was unlikely to help given the severity of his condition. With heavy hearts, Alex and I chose to let him pass peacefully, comforting him as we said our final goodbyes. (and feeding him the whole bowl of treats.) Eight years with my loyal friend feels far too short, Omar was an extraordinary dog, our beloved barn potato and the best cuddler. We’re grateful to have had him in our lives and that we could spare him any further pain.
