Security at Schiphol was thankfully quick that morning—much better than my previous visit when it took over an hour. Boarding started right on time. Interestingly, today’s flight was operated by German Airways on behalf of KLM Cityhopper, using their Embraer E190 in a special KLM livery. So technically, maybe it was my first flight with German Airways instead! Onboard, the seats had KLM-branded headrest covers and were fairly comfortable, though slightly dirty. The seat featured a decent recline, and in the seat pocket, there was a KLM magazine, a sickness bag, and a German Airways safety card. My window view just behind the wing was well-aligned, which is always a bonus. Shortly after takeoff, a sandwich was served—without any options to choose from, which felt a bit unusual for a morning flight. That said, it was still appreciated, and there was a full drink selection available. The crew on this short hop was friendly and efficient. All in all, a solid flight with German Airways / KLM Cityhopper—glad to finally be in the air after the earlier cancellations! © Aviation LF 2025 You can share this video.
